No, the CR-X series monitors does not have any mounting points. The speakers are designed to be placed on a desktop. They should not be wall or ceiling mounted with any hardware that requires connection to the speaker enclosure with screws or nails. Nothing should penetrate the speaker enclosure.
No, the CR-X series monitors are designed to accept a line level input and a higher level signal may either cause distortion or damage of the powered speaker.
Yes, the monitors can be left on, even when not being used. It would be suggested to turn the monitors off when not being used in order to prolong their life span.
No, you cannot.
This depends on what you are doing with audio. If listening to or mixing bass heavy music or sound for TV then a subwoofer such as the CR8S-XBT would be highly beneficial. For ordinary listening or mixing your band's demo the stereo CR monitors should be sufficient when working with frequency responses as low as 60Hz.
No, with the convenient position selector switch you can set the powered monitor on whichever side suits your room best.
Note that pairing is different than connecting. Pairing is when devices “learn about” one another, and users can pair all of their various BT source devices with their CR-XBT monitors at their leisure, such that they instantly connect upon power-up during future use. However, only one device can be actively connected at any given time.
The CR-X series monitors are designed to be placed in a vertical position. If placing them horizontally, place them so that the woofers are toward the inside and the tweeters outside for the best stereo image.
The monitors should be placed at ear level.
Bluetooth 4.2
CR-X monitors include a built-in noise gate to minimize hiss when idle. To prevent it from accidentally muting valid signal, ensure that your source device's volume is all the way up. That means turning up your computer's digital volume control to 100, your phone's volume to max, etc. Once complete, you can rely on the level control of the CR-X itself to set your volume to taste. The level knob has no bearing on the noise gate.
Amidst other physical factors, Bluetooth operates in a very narrow radio frequency band around 2.4GHz which has it competing with numerous other devices in the same range.
Check out our Bluetooth Optimization Guide for more info and best practices on dealing with these physical limitations.
Because there's no power running to it! Only your active speaker's logo LED will illuminate when the speaker is powered on. Since nothing besides signal from speaker wire travels to your passive monitor, there's no way to light up the logo. In fact, there's no LED circuitry behind the logo at all!
Make sure you're properly putting the speaker into pairing mode. For first-time pairing, hold down the RunningMan logo for 5 seconds; the LED will flash indicating the speaker is in pairing mode.
If you're having trouble doing this, there may be another device already paired to the speaker. If so, you'll want to hold down the RunningMan button for 5 seconds followed by holding the button down for another 5 seconds.

There are two power switches on the CR-X series. Make sure that you're flipping the rocker switch on the back of the active speaker to "on" as well as clicking on the front volume knob.
If the speaker is successfully powered on, the RunningMan logo LED will illuminate.
