How do I link two speakers together via Bluetooth?

First, go to the config menu on both speakers and choose the factory restore option to reset them. This will clear all previously paired devices and will reset the link settings.

Next, connect a phone, tablet or other bluetooth enabled device to ONLY ONE speaker. This is the most important part. If Bluetooth is paired to both the primary and secondary speaker, the link feature will malfunction.

Once the device is connected to the primary speaker via Bluetooth, attempt to link the two speakers together.

After the speakers are successfully linked together, make sure the “Auto Link” option is enabled in the BT Setting menu within the config menu on both speakers.

Which eyebolt kit should I get so I can fly my speaker or subwoofer?

This model utilizes the PA-A3 eyebolt kit. You can buy it from your preferred Mackie dealer!

Why does my speaker's Bluetooth disconnect unless I'm only a few feet away?

Amidst other physical factors, Bluetooth operates in a very narrow radio frequency band around 2.4GHz which has it competing with numerous other devices in the same range.

Check out our Bluetooth Optimization Guide for more info and best practices on dealing with these physical limitations.
