Unfortunately, the Thump2XT line cannot connect to the Thump12BST, Thump15BST or Thump GO speakers.

Only ThumpXT loudspeakers include built-in mounting points for the PA-A2 eyebolt kit (sold through select Mackie dealers). Non-XT Thump loudspeakers may NOT be flown.
To link two speakers together, press and hold the Link button on the primary speaker for 5 seconds. It will begin flashing blue to indicate it's searching for a secondary speaker. Within 30 seconds, tap and release the Link button on the secondary speaker. Do not hold the button on the secondary speaker. Both speakers' Link button LEDs should turn solid blue to indicate they are linked together. If you want to adjust Auto-Link behavior on bootup, you may do so with the Thump Connect 2 app.
If you're unsuccessful in getting your speakers to link, walk through the troubleshooting guide below.
Primary speaker reset:
1. Turn off Speaker #1.
2. Forget the speaker from all previously paired devices' Bluetooth settings.
3. Hold down the OUTDOOR MODE and VOICING MODE buttons simultaneously.
4. Switch the speaker ON while holding the buttons.
5. Wait 5 seconds.
6. Release the Outdoor Mode and Voicing Mode buttons.
7. Wait another 5 seconds with the buttons held down.
8. The speaker is now reset.
Primary speaker pairing:
1. Press and hold the PAIR button until it starts blinking (about 3-5 seconds).
2. On your device, navigate to the Bluetooth menu and search for new devices.
3. Connect to the device named after your speaker. Do not connect to any device with "LE" in the name. If needed, search multiple times.
4. If the PAIR button stops flashing, repeat steps 1-3.
Power off the primary speaker and turn your attention to the secondary speaker.
Secondary speaker reset:
1. Turn off Speaker #2.
2. Hold down the OUTDOOR MODE and VOICING MODE buttons simultaneously.
3. Switch the speaker ON while holding the buttons.
4. Wait 5 seconds.
5. Release the OUTDOOR MODE and VOICING MODE buttons.
6. Wait another 5 seconds with the buttons held down.
7. The speaker is now reset.
Linking both speakers together:
1. Turn on Speaker #1.
2. Press and hold the LINK button on Speaker #1 until it starts blinking (about 3-5 seconds).
3. Walk to Speaker #2 and press the LINK button once (a single tap).
4. The Link button LEDs on both speakers will blink simultaneously to indicate they are linked.
DO NOT pair your phone to any Bluetooth devices labelled "LE_Thump" or "LE_ThumpXT." This is a protocol reserved for your speaker to talk to your phone's Thump Connect 2 app.
You should only pair to the device labeled "Thump GO" or "ThumpXT." If this device isn't populating, make sure that you're properly putting your speaker into pairing mode by holding down the pair button for 5 seconds or until flashing.
Amidst other physical factors, Bluetooth operates in a very narrow radio frequency band around 2.4GHz which has it competing with numerous other devices in the same range.
Check out our Bluetooth Optimization Guide for more info and best practices on dealing with these physical limitations.
The Bluetooth link feature ONLY allows BT audio to play through both speakers. If you connect a microphone or guitar to one speaker and want it to play through both speakers, you'll need to link them together with an XLR cable.
Because it's working right! This LED is dual-function. It will illuminate green to indicate good, healthy signal and blink red to indicate that the built-in limiter is activating to prevent clipping. Occasional red blinks are okay, but you should turn your gain down if it blinks constantly.
The Thru output on this speaker will only carry analog input signal, not Bluetooth signal. This means that if you connect a subwoofer to your speaker's Thru output, it will not receive Bluetooth audio.
If you want Bluetooth audio to play through your entire PA, we recommend connecting your PA to a mixer with a Bluetooth input, such as our Onyx series of mixers:
https://mackie.com/en/products/mixers/onyx-series
You can also connect a generic Bluetooth receiver to any other mixer as an input to get the same effect.
